A student has died after being hit by a speeding Scorpio in Siwan. 10 people including two girl students are injured. It is said that the Scorpio was coming towards Siwan at high speed on the Badharia-Siwan main road. Three girl students were standing on the roadside waiting for the bus to go to school near Shahbaz Chowk. The speedy Scorpio crushed all three and started running away. Meanwhile, the Scorpio’s tire burst and it collided with a tempo. Eight passengers traveling in the tempo were injured as soon as the collision occurred.

There was panic in the area after the incident. There was a crowd of people nearby. Here, as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation. Neighboring people admitted three girl students and others to the hospital for treatment. Where doctors declared a student dead. The deceased student has been identified as Tannu Kumari. The two injured girl students were identified as Manju Kumari and Rubina Khatoon. Eight people traveling in the tempo are undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital in Siwan.
Angry villagers blocked the road
Here, after the incident, angry villagers have blocked the road. People are demanding compensation and action against the Scorpio driver. Villagers say that due to lack of speed breakers, road accidents often happen here. And if we make a mistake then the administration files a case against us. The police pacified the people. The body was sent for post-mortem. Police is taking further action in the matter. Badhariya police station in-charge said that a student has died in a road accident. Two are injured.
